Fantastic product for my 100-lb German Shepherd!

Purchased this wheelchair when my German Shepherd’s hind legs suddenly gave out due to a slipped disc and the need for possible surgery. It took me awhile to find some wheels like this, large enough to support his weight of 100 lbs. It’s worth every penny and is very well made! They don’t ship to APO addresses but we’re able to ship quickly to my home in Germany. Our miniature dachshund Walt has a bad back like many little wienies do. His discs are hardened, with less cushioning between, so he's injured himself and undergone surgeries that have left him paralyzed in his hind legs. He has big brothers he's desperate to keep up with and a puppy dog spirit that just won't quit. We bought him a little wheelchair on Amazon, and we could tell that he appreciated the extra mobility, but the fit wasn't great. We decided to invest in something a little more custom, and Walt's physio therapist recommended Walkin' Wheels.
She helped us take his measurements, but the website has a pretty thorough template that's easy to follow. That way you get the best fit for your dog. That's how we found out that though he's a wiener, the best fit for him wasn't the dachshund wheelchairs but the small breed ones.
It arrived verry quickly.
My husband put it together and it's definitely sturdier than the last one. The harness fits his chest much better. It sits snuggly but doesn't chafe.
He could tell the difference straight away. He loves being in it.

If you're anything like me, you've probably visited the site a few times or maybe checked out the listings on Amazon and maybe even placed it in your shopping cart but for whatever reason just haven't clicked purchase yet. Because it feels overwhelming and you don't know if a wheelchair is necessary yet or if it's the right wheelchair or ... or ... or. Had I known how quickly after placing my frenchie, Daisy, in the chair for the first time that I would see the joy return to her face as she realized she could finally chase her ball and terrorize her brother again, I would not have hesitated for even a single second in placing the order. The chair itself arrived within days, setup was easy, and the Walkin Pets team has been great in responding to my questions both before purchasing and in quickly resolving a minor issue with the stitching on the premium vest/harness that I purchased with the wheelchair. All this is to say, don't be like me. Don't wait unnecessarily to see the joy return to the face that brings so much joy to yours.
