Running again, playing with his friends, and going on walks!!! We bought Daphne her first pair of baby Walkin’ Wheels, which she took to straight away! Today, we are 15 months into Maxwell using his wheels, and he is an absolute pro! He is on his third set, as pigs continue growing until they are five, and he has outgrown his first two wheelchairs. In addition to loving the freedom wheels provide, we have also seen Maxwell’s hind legs and spinal muscles get stronger, and he is able to support himself on his legs and take several steps unaided now. We know this would not have been possible without the last 15 months of wheelchair therapy.”

“I wanted to share my big Zeus with you all. He was diagnosed with a disc degenerative disease in 2023 and was slowly unable to walk. It was heartbreaking watching him slow down, and I could see how it was making him sad that he couldn’t enjoy his favorite activities. A friend of mine recommended walkin pets to us and I am not exaggerating When I tell you I could see my boys eyes light up the moment we got him situated. He enjoyed his wheels up until his passing this past August at almost 13 years old. We miss him so much but know that his walkin wheels gave him so much more life to live than previously expected. And for that we cannot thank you enough. We still have his walkin wheels in hopes that we can donate it to another loving pup in need."

“Ashildr became paralyzed in her back legs 07/07/22 (stage 5 IVDD) and needed emergency surgery. Later, she was diagnosed with focal mylomelasia. Yesterday she took a stroll in her wheels to the park across the street for the first time since her injury. Menhyt is an 11-year-old Greyhound. She was born in Tijuana at the “Agua Caliente” racing track, born in an unwanted litter of puppies from two racing dogs. The owner of the dogs offered me one of the puppies and I had to say yes. I must admit, that was one of the best decisions in my life, because she has been such a great companion. She is now 11-years-old and has been using the wheelchair for three years now.  Menhyt has used two wheelchairs so far, and she is going to need a third one because those old tires are giving up from all her activity! She lost mobility in her rear legs when she was 8-years-old. She was so sad and lost so much weight. Some veterinarians suggested putting her to sleep because it was going to be “too much work” to care for her in this condition. I said NO to that idea and decided to do everything I could to keep her alive, happy, and enjoying life. It hasn’t been easy, but here we are, three years and 4 months later, and she is doing so well.  After I got her her first wheelchair, she started moving around more and more, she gained some weight, and she seemed happier. It’s so nice that dog wheelchairs exist. Thank you for making them! I must say that Walkin’ Wheels are great quality and are very well built.
